Be a shell
Year:2024
In the traditional teaching of girls in the East, we are like "dolls". Adults always want us to be "more lovable", what kind of clothes to wear, what kind of hair style to wear, and even what kind of thoughts and behaviors we should have. These are "regulated" by parents, schools, and society.
I often think, why do men like to control women so much? And why are women complicit in patriarchy?
Is our society not tolerant enough? Women need to learn "tolerance" from an early age.
Is it because our aesthetics are not diverse enough? Women's freedom to dress has not yet been realized, and they are often reviled for "showing skin." But we are born this way, aren't we?
There are women who are victims but also complicit.
When I am born as a human being, I am first of all a colorful and unique myself.
I think sea shells are very much like the human heart, they are armor, protecting our weakest parts.
Our hearts are shells with hard armor. We are not dolls in other people's fantasies, all in order to become ourselves.
